I have been tring to reimagine money for a long time. Times now are changing all of that or pressing it on. This webbook is only very secondarily about generating income. It does take some money to keep it afloat so some income from it would be nice. The main purpose is as a repository of my thoughts. Also give play in a hopefuly positive way to wnat narcissistic traits I have (most of us have some of this in our mix.
Caesar must have his due though. I want this to be biased to the god side of that metaphorical equation. By god I mean the demands of the real word, the stuff that happens as we are making our plans.
My ideal would be that money is not a barrier to attending classes. I also no that there must be reciprocity of some sort. I give it as a gift and a gift needs to be given in return. This is all theoretical, don't now how practical. But there will be no classes for who knows how long. Spare monies that people have I would rather have go to those more in neeed than I am now.

During this time of covid-19 I do not wish to request money for any teaching. There are too many places where donations are desparately needed. If you feel the need to pay anything give that money instead to an organization that is working to bring relief to those who are suffering. Once we are settled into some new normal, however brief that may be, I will revisit this topic.
How does a system of healing that is based upon the natural law of reciprocity weld itself into a capitalist extractive economic structure and not be infected by or contribute to the growth of a world destroying world view?
WARNING! Conniving to get at no cost to you (for freeee, wheeee) has the greatest cost to you. I endeavor to take at face value whateve story I am told and I cannot predict what will move me and how I will be moved. The more you willingly and generously you invest in a thing the greater will be its value to you. The better it will work for you. This is a placebo effect. The more you pay for your placebo the better it works. What excess I receive I will pass on to somewhere there is a greater need, tending toward ecological justice.
Two lines of thought collided. The old parable of Jesus turning the table on his inquisitors entrained with the Mikhail Bakhtin study of Rabelais and His World, specifically the notion of the Official World feat. the Real World. The Official World taxes and proscribes; has its forms and certificates; has power to enforce and rewards to offer: this is Caesar's World, it holds the Soul in hostage. The Real World is in all of those spaces the Real World cannot map. It too has its power to enforce but pours out different kinds of rewards: this is God's World, it gives you back your Soul.
There is a space, a zone where the the two worlds are in feirce debate embrace. It is a bit like an attack but it's an attack that is permitted. The Real World like a clever lawyer finds the loopholes, like a dark web warrior finds the hacks. Bakhtin names this zone of engagement the carnivalesque. It pokes fun, delights in ambiguity, irony, satire and sarcasm. It is a sacred zone in the negative of Officail World theology; it is protected and allowed withing constraints it sets. I liken it to a mucus. Mucus as a substance mediates, mitigates, ameliorates. One of my favorite words is cleave. It is one of a handful of words that means itself or its opposite. Mucus sticks and it lubricates; adheres and slides. The Official World favors stucture the Real World favors freedom. Movement requires both functioning in synchrony. It never is an either or it is always a yes and . . . .
